1. The Browser War Because of Chrome...
Long time ago, when someone said "How to surf the net?" Everybody said "Use Internet Explorer." But since the introduction of new browsers like Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome, people are switching from IE to other choices. The reason is simple - Because IE is not secure and fast, there are other better options. Google Chrome plays a leading role in "The Browser Battle", doing small fixes and updates all the time, it grows extremely fast, and causing strong competition in the development of a Internet browser. Thanks to Google Chrome, all other browsers become aware and keep on improving! Google Chrome now has approximately 33% worldwide usage share of web browsers, overcoming Firefox and reaching IE!
2. Best Web Browser?
In my opinion, Google Chrome is best for speed and Firefox for addons and customization. But you will still need IE because some stupid websites is only compatible with IE.
