Burning software are programs that let you create disc images (such as ISO/BIN files) and CD/DVD/Blu-ray Discs. Most of the burning software offers much more features such as NERO and Ashampoo Burning Studio.
2. How to choose the best burning software?
I would recommend free burning utilities - there is no reason why there are so many free alternatives out there but you still pay for it. ImgBurn is very powerful but is not very user-friendly. Ashampoo Burning Studio FREE and CDBurnerXP are my top picks for average users.
