                Will's Tips

                1. When do you need a FTP client?
                Not all PC users would need a FTP client. FTP is commonly used when you are building a website. FTP clients allow you to connect to your website server, so you can upload/download/mange your "website files".

                2.  Best FTP client?
                I would recommend using free FTP client. Filezilla is a good choice. I found this freeware allows me to do everything I need in terms of website management.
