1. Is a music player necessary?
There is no definite answer to this question. Some people love to have a ''Music Player" or a "Music Library" software to organize their music collections, while others only use a media player to play their music. It really depends on the user's habit. For me, I use foobar2000 as my default music player, as it is simple, fast and highly customizable. I also have iTunes installed but mainly for syncing music to my Apple devices.
2. Best music player?
In my opinion, foobar2000 is the best music player in the list as it is fast and simple, supporting lots of file formats. It has all the features that makes a good music player.
